DJ from Popular Thai Pub in Pattaya accused of producing and selling drugs



PATTAYA: -- On Monday morning a press conference was held at Chonburi Police Headquarters to announce the arrest of a well-known Thai DJ who works at a popular Thai Pub in Pattaya. He is accused of running a drug production operation on behalf of a prison inmate, who controls the distribution of drugs around Pattaya from behind bars.

Police Major General Nittipong, the Provincial Police Commander announced the arrest of Khun Kulchalit aged 26, who works as a DJ at the Red Bull Pub on the Tepprasit Road in Jomtien. Intelligence was received by Police regarding the sale and production of illegal drugs by the suspect who was arrested in the early hours of Monday at the Red Bull Pub.

The suspect was carrying some drugs and a firearm and was taken back to his apartment close to the Pub where drugs with a combined street value of 2.6 Million Baht were found along with 4 unlicensed firearms.
