Update Flag on App Store Won't Go

Featured Replies

I have an iPhone 4S running iOS 7.1.2. There is a red flag on my App Store app indicating that an app update is available. However, all of my apps are up to date and the flag is still there. I tried a reset, already. Flag's still there. How else can I get rid of it?

iPhone 4S, iOS 7.1.2

I broke my Iphone years ago and never looked back. Not much help I'm afraid.

iOS is at 8.1.1 so no surprise that you have a prompt. Problem with the 4S is that it's getting out of date with lack of available of memory for the latest updates.

I had the same problem on my iPhone 5 at one point but finally got rid of it. I can't remember what I did but try syncing with iTunes and reloading the offending app.

You sure it's not a prompt for IOS 8.1.1, a version that improves performance of older iPhones and iPads that have opted for iOS 8 ?
