We have just bought a Samsung Smart TV which includes Samsung Showtime on the Smart Hub. One of the apps. is TOT IPTV and we got 1 weeks free trial period. I am very impressed with the HD picture quality of the Thai channels 3,5 and 7. The layout is easy for my wife to use, however, I am at a loss to find out how you subscribe to it. I have looked at the Samsung site and the TOT site, done numerous searches and created accounts with both Samsung and TOT to no avail.

Can anybody help please?

It indicates that you can purchase TOT prepaid cards from their dealers, but these appear to be applicable the payment of TOT internet or iptv access through TOT internet. I am not sure that they are applicable to the TOT iptv accessible through the Samsung Showtime application.

Sometimes it is difficult to interpret the meaning of the English translations. However, as you say, Q3 seems to make it clear that you can't use the TOT iptv box route to subscribe to the Samsung Showtime app.

I have subscribed to Samsung Showtime via the TV and can log in with my email address. In fact, I can stay logged in so that when I open the app. it automaticly logs me in with my email address. However, there is no provision to pay. I have just over 1 day remaining on my free trial period, so maybe when that expires it will ask me to pay.

I am also superscribed to iLikeHD, which I can access through my TV. So I can get all the channels I want that way. However, although it is pretty stable, sometimes you get it buffering. Also, channel changes take too long, when you are used to the instant change with digital TV.

I would also like to have another more stable platform for Thai HD tv which is easier for my wife to use, TOT iptv would provide that.

Would have thought they would send you a confirmation email containing some hints as to what to do next.

My free trial period expired and when I tried to access TOT iptv I was offered a payment option with my Mastercard or Visa card. Used my Bangkok Bank Visa card, it was accepted and for 99 Baht I was given 30 days subscription.

Easy...

Probably an option to accept their TOT PrePaid PIN or Card numbers as well? (probably have wait for this month to expire before it shows, same same as the current option did)
