A lot of people couldn't believe the way Trump and Vance behaved. Zelensky calmly explained the number of times Putin broke agreements and Vance goes ballistic behaving like the goon he is. A shame to see the American government behaving like football hooligans. -

Why Do Some Foreigners in Thailand Still Call Other Foreigners “Farang” and is it Cringe?
That is very weird. I speak half-decent Thai, and I use the word farang all the time, whether speaking Thai or speaking English. My Thai friends, many of whom are educated professionals, all use the word as well; I’ve never had any indication that it’s in any way disrespectful. My neighbors call my house *baan farang*; some people in my girlfriend’s family call me *lung farang* (“Uncle White Guy”), entirely respectfully. The word apparently derives from the Persian, originally referring to the (European) Franks. (???) -

When to eat bananas
Yes much healthier than ice cream as low fat, i blend with Soy milk but dairy milk would be really good also, I've started adding ginger to my smoothies and it definitely gives an edge -

Security Guards and their whistles.
There is a shopping/restaurant area in Chiang mai nice place to sit for lunch. But, two guards constantly blowing their whistles for what seems no reason only way to get thru it is wear noise canceled headphones. It is annoying and way over done. Yes, I believe some power trip in many cases unnecessary.
