Sophon Cable

Featured Replies

How much is Sophon Cable charging for installation and monthly fee.

Thanks

WCA

Been a while since i paid my last bill but yearly i think its 4500 baht or by the month its 450 baht.............someone put me right if the figures are wrong :o

Installation is free long as the connection point isn't too far from their nearest box.

Just up the road, I paid my very-similar-to-Sophon-Cable PTV bill yesterday.

1,500 baht for 6 months = 250 baht/month.

It is going back a year but we used to pay for Sophon at my old house at the promotional rate of 1800 for 6 months. However this rate wasn't available to new subscribers and they tried to make us pay 450 per month at the new house.

Picture quality and reliability was pitiful (last year anyway) so ditched the cable for satellite TV.

I pay Sophon ฿350 per month.

No idea about current installation charges, but you could call them on 038 423777.

I have it at my View Talay condo and it was B1000 installation fee then B3000 per year. I dont think they offered a monthly rate.

Recently i payed the Banglamung Cable bill which was 1500 baht for 6 months.

While i was in their office i enquired about paying yearly, and they told me if i wanted to pay yearly it would be 4200 baht.

Thai economics isn't it? :o

Plus if you like cricket, cable has an Indian sports channel. Just watched England get thrashed by India. I was going for a curry later, maybe I won't risk it, there might be a riot in the restaurant, and these Sikhs are pretty handy.

Soi Chaiyapoon........."Nee Roys" opposite Crazy Daves....................get a take away.....nice sauce but a bit skimpy on the meat these days.

For what its worth, Sophon is crap, unless you like Thai Soaps !!! The bills though seem to differ as I pay 1,500 per year.

Errmm, that is the price for only having the Thai Soaps' channels, so why are you complaining...? :o
