Steel girder construction costs versus traditional brick/cement

Around Bangkok I see many condo showrooms, restaurants and other buildings that are constructed of Steel Girders with lots of glass.

I'd really like to build a super modern home and have seen some of these buildings which would make awesome homes.

Does anyone know what the costs might be per sq/m for this type of building?

Anyone have any first hand experience building something that looks super modern and not just the average boring 'House'?

You need to find a good architect and work out what you want. Then you will know what the cost. There is no standard cost for what you are describing.

I guess I'll go speak to the nice young woman who recently opened a steak place here in Bangkok and who's restaurant building would make a cool house.
