Spoilsport.  Why spoil the myth?  Its food for the usuals on here!!!

Mind you, come december we should be back to that old chestnut, losing all our players......can't believe its that time of year already!

Wow, who on earth do you think would pretend to watch a game of football?  More importantly, why would you think that?

I should add the caveat that West Ham stay up but on their performance yesterday they ought to be around the middle of the pack.

TBH, i don't think how well they play against us is a reflection, as its their most important home derby.  Ultimately they have a quality manager and enough decent players to finish quite safe i reckon.

Loved the comment last week from Mark Noble; West Ham and Spurs have had similar starts to the season....

Currently at that time there was an 11 point, 10 position gap between us!!!!  Deluded!!

I've seen them play a few times this season....not a bad side now and how they played yesterday is actually a fair reflection of how they are progressing.

Still won though didn't we.

With a much weakened side don't forget.

Poch fielded that side knowing we need to beat PSV this week.  We'll obviously lose on monday to City,  the champions designate but who cares, the game in Eindhoven is more important.  Our scrap for a top four place will continue regardless of if we lose to City but,  if we beat PSV home and away we put ourselves back into a position to make the knockouts.

Dele, vertonghen and Wanyama won't feature in either game but atleast we have Eriksen back, and Dembele  although its difficult to know what to expect with him at the hi moment seeing as he might be off in a couple of months.

Dembele will play the full game and he is committed....truth is he wants to stay.

He'll come round to the 12 month rolling deal eventually....just wait and see.

What amuses me.

is the posting by Totts supporters. that a debt of 1/2 billion quid to be  serviced . Will magically disappear overnight.

through selling players./real estate etc etc.

Afraid to inform you.

that it will not work that way and have not mentioned the Bahamas company deal LOL.

Totts are Tottering under a massive debt to be met

and the new stadium delay  .is not helping .to service that 1/2billion quid at all.

In fact its compondding the 1/2billion quid . as each hour paases.

just my thoughts

And yet no one here is concerned at all.

Except for a lonely arse voice fluttering in from his Thursday night viewing.

It always makes me chuckle when fans from other clubs; you know who you are!!  question Poch not winning silverware.  Its universally accepted by managers, players and fans "with no axe to grind",  that he hasn't really been in a position that much to win big trophies (Espanyol, Southampton), yet he's already one of the best managers in the world and when Real Madrid come for you, you are, just that, one of the best managers in the world, without a doubt.  I can accept the stupidity from the usual suspects that come on here to troll us,  but as a new poster,  maybe you might want to start off with your credibility intact?????

I ALWAYS suspect new posters who begin by talking about a club other than their own.

True, good point.  Mind you, although he is some way off the mark, and a little lost in his Gooner no man land, if, as Alfie has already mentioned, we didn't have the option of Naming Rights and sale of apartments then it would be a lot more serious.  The late opening and lost revenues is a complete pain in the butt and could end up derailing our season.

What will take chunks out of the debt is the US cable network revenues which will be huge but not one of our detractors or the usual suspects tend to go anywhere near that huge source of income that will be channeled in.  Surprise surprise.

Can't say i'd be looking to buy an apartment in N17 but each to their own!!!

Sissoko had another decent game and it was his very good assist that created Lamela's goal!!

On a side not, i really think Lamela has to be starting games now.  Best player yesterday and has been one of our best every time he's played this season.

Why would any Totts supporters  on this thread show no concern.

1/  Its not their money.

2/Are  unable to digest .

the massive size of the debt to be serviced .

Sure it may met.

But

I.M.O. not without paying a very high price for it

1/2 billion quid  and climbing everday.

Thats whats facing

Pleas

Please note.

all my posts of to morning.on this thread.

are polite and  on topic.

Open to  any sane discussion or debate .

It would be ever so nice .

to do the same.

in leiu of the above marlarky

You have repeated the same thing over and over....what is there to say?

We don't know the ins and outs of Levy or Joe Lewis finances or the club's plans to repay loans so there is nothing to report.

The club will want all debts paid quickly....the fans will want better players....the players want bigger wages and on and on the circus goes.

Your posts are perfectly polite mate, its just that you've been repeating the same stuff over and over!!!  We get it, we've answered, what else is there to say?

I stand corrected, there is a similarity.....we've both only won one game at the Olympic Stadium this season!!!!!

Just what is important!? To see great, exciting football or win trophies!

Remember that match a couple of years back under Harry R; Spurs 4 Liverpool 0. One of the best Spurs performances I have seen for years. All home fans would have had a spring in their step for a few days.

Since Spurs last won the top division Ipswich. Villa, Blackburn, Forest, Derby and Leeds have been winners. And where are they now? Any of those would trade places with Spurs as it stands now.

Give me good football any day.

Hey. If I supported Tommy Robinson I would rather slit my wrists but we all have our axes to grind.

Wouldnt pay us to all support the same things would it, life would soon become rather boring.

But Bob, you are fortunate to support a club that until very recently were streets ahead in terms of trophy success. Not all clubs can be top doggies. .

Irons' fans are just pleased to up there with the big 'uns, getting the occasional decent win as they did against Man U a couple of weeks back.

Yesterday i watched live: Real Madrid v Levente. Don't support either team; just enjoyed watching a game of skillful footy.

But that's just it, you didn't support them last night did you ? still i suppose everyone has their own way of supporting their team !

Good to see another 3 points , even if it was not the best game I've seen. Top 4 for now, lets hope Leicester can steal some points tomorrow, would be fun but can't see it happening.
