carmine
This looks the likely team for tonight. Palacios is still crocked, as is Gallas. It seems the Harry Hotspur blog (normally garbage imho) agrees for its worth. On the basis of the injuries it seems to be fairly obvious. carmine
Obvious? Nah you never can tell with wily old 'Arry..... Another massive game....can't wait! Why not? Who else can he play? JJ as defensive midfield...i don't think so defoe up front? I don't think so. He's been playing all season like he's on Man City's payroll. Palacios Gallas, Pienaar, Kranjcar. King, Woodgate, Kaboul, Hutton all out injured.Huddlestone is poor defensively and isn't match fit anyway. That is ofcourse if he does'nt play Cudicini as a striker which would be a vast improvement on what we currently have to make do with. Lets face it, Harrys been making some odd tactical decisions recently. Edited April 5, 2011 by carmine

carmine
Of all his ridiculous displays, and lets face it, theres been a few, that one really takes the biscuit. Crouch is an absolute imbecile. You don't get anything playing Madrid for 75 mins with ten men. Losing Lennon in the warm up was a nightmare. Not our night but all in all a very impressive first CL campaign and one we should be proud of. A shame on the night as i don't think we did ourselves justice. However, the sending off and injuries aside, there is no doubting that Madrid are playing at a different level to us. We will continue to improve and i'd love the oppotunity to have another go at them next season.

Buy a left back...a centre half and a couple of strikers Daniel <deleted>..... You have to put things into perspective. They were /are a superior side. So this does'nt make it panic stations for us. We've always known that despite his improvement BAE is not great. I'm not sure though its any priority to buy someone yet in that position. But yes, it needs to be looked at. We are and have been well aware that are strikers could'nt score in a brothel, despite the fact that Crouchie thinks he done a good job this season anf Defoe still loves himself. The center frailties are their because we have persisted in having two sicknotes in our 25 man squad that never play. Well what do you expect if the ones that do actually play get injured! What we obviously need is a very good striker and the outcome of that will probably depend on our league position at the end of the season. If we can finish fourth then i suppose we shall have to go through the misery again of the unprofessional way Levy and Redknapp like to wheeler deal last minute transfers, and i say that because theres no way we will convince a world class striker by frantic last minute bartering. We should recall Walker from Villa and Caulker from Bristol, and sadly call it quits with Ledley and probably Woodgate. There are some players that will want to leave either way. Krancjar being one and as Sandro will be starting games we'll probably lose either JJ or Palacios. Theres obviously been problems with Hutton and word is he'll go, but with Walker back we have a better up and coming young player, with Corluka and Kaboul as good stands in if required. Whihc in that case then, you'd better start preparing yourself for another Season of Arnold, the Russian Female Porn Star, Big Bird/Steven Merchant & the Dutchman who only joined your Club in the first place as he is simply not good enough to actually play Football for a Team at the very top level.. MSingh
Lol^ Yes but they can try the Europa cup with Liverpoo, and see how many "top class"players will stay??? They haven't got any " top class Players " though.. Bale is great but even was great when Redknapp called him a liability a couple of Years back because he played him at left back, the Mong Boy has it all though but needs to move to fullfill that potential hence Levy just getting him to sign a 5 Year deal last week. Modric looked very much out of his depth last night even though he is a good little Player, ultimately he's just another Benayoun who, at the very toop level, isn't good enough. VDV isn't a top class Player as if he was, he would be playing for a top Club, which he isn't... Sandro has only played a dozen Games in this Country so it's too early to judge him in my opinion, even thoguh some would as he only touched the balll 4 times last night.. Apart from that, Jenas & Dawson are good..

We'll buy in the summer. Bale and Modric are going nowhere. Calm down Mr Red. You can have Jenas or Krancjar if ya need some 'quality' in the midfield. Really though we need to sack the entire crop of strikers and start again. Oh aye singher...special needs??? <deleted> aye down to 10 men against a side who brought on Kaka from the bench?
