Spurs spent 100 million, nearabouts in the summer on strikers and playmakers. Trouble is, they have no-one who can make play, and no strikers worth talking about. My prediction based on the first eleven games is they will struggle to get into the top four and if they don't then AVB will be sacked......nothing new from me i know but i did say this from the very start of the season based on AVB's lack of tactical skills and the average run of the mill players that they have bought....obviously Lamela excepted as he has not been given much game time yet.....but that is just another reason why AVB is not with it. Also fans don't forget when a manager slags them off as all the booing again at home showed this past weekend. The thing is with Spurs they talk a good game and big up the players but in reality they just are not gelling as a team and that is the managers fault. Levy has been very quiet lately and so has Baldini who as you well know was the technical director at Roma and look what progress they have made since he left .
