wet cut tile saw

Featured Replies

I know that folks have asked before, but, does anyone know where to buy a wet cut tile saw.

It’s not for me, but for my very good Viking friend in the village.

Online sites or telephone numbers of stores etc.. would be greatly appreciated.

Something similar to the picture below.

Thanks in advance.

Have a Nice Day.

I have a bridge wet tile cutter, i brought over from the UK, but i have never seen any in Thailand, i have looked in most of the larger stores, but as yet i have come up short, I am a tiler in the UK, so its something that i notice when in Thailand. a good dry tile cutter will do most cuts even porcelain, and for the angle cuts where a wet cutter is required a good continuous diamond edged blade in an angle grinder should do the trick

I've seen them at big hardware outlets. Might have to ask if none are on display. And ktw.co.th has online ordering like this one:

https://www.ktw.co.th/product/_marathon_-electrical-tile-cutter-110mm/49098

that machine takes 110mm blades, a 180mm plus would be better,

the blade on the same page is 230mm and only good for stone, far too course for porcelain etc, as it would chip the tile.

I find ktw's prices to be lower than some places, but not necesarily the lowest overall. For instance I was shopping for a Makita belt sander and it was 21000 baht at homepro, 11000 at ktw, and 10000 at a local hardware store. Also while the ktw selection may seem huge, you will find most are listed as "out of stock" where they will remain indefinitely. They do at times slip nice calendars in your order though.
