FracturedRabbit Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 Or as my wife rather charmingly calls it: a spermware update. Anyway, 3.0 was released today and provides 9 fps with focus tracking which is a nice update from the previous version. It also doesn't wipe out your existing settings which is a pleasant change. So if you have an E-M1, get updating! If you don't, you can always chime in and suggest buying a Samsung or a Nikon or whatever.
Tywais Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Only just now saw this topic. Thanks for the heads up. Surprised it doesn't do a settings wipe considering the upgrade number and good to know.

Tywais Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Just upgraded my firmware from 3.0 to 3.1. One caution, all customized menu settings get reset to defaults. Also some new menu items added to it. That's ok, I needed to go through the dozens of menu options to refresh my memory.
