HUA HIN:- Banyan The Resort, Hua Hin represented by Sirirat Murphy, General Manager, in conjunction with the MercedesBenz Club Thailand represented by Sayam Sethaputra, President, recently organised the Banyan Mercedes-Benz Road Cruise 2015 in Hua Hin. The charity event was a full day of celebrations with a parade of Mercedes Benz luxury sports car by their owners and a display of a Mercedes-Benz SLS sport car. There was also an on-site inspection of a showcase residential suite at Banyan and a visit to the Dog Shelter Foundation under the Royal Patronage of H.M. King Bhumibhol.
The Mercedes-Benz Club Thailand donated funds to the Foundation after a charity dinner and fashion show. There was also an auction of paintings by local Hua Hin artist Yuwanan (Pao) Thongho, proprietor of Polung Gallery. Dancing was performed celebrity artist Napakpapha (Mamee) Nakprasitte with entertainment from the ever-popular duo, Byrd and Heart. Monies raised will also be donated to the Hua Hin Hospital to purchase needed beds for in-patients. The Banyan Mercedes-Benz Road Cruise was the first in the Hua Hin community and generated interest and support from the Hua Hin Municipal as well as the Tourism Authority of Thailand and other partners.
