shaving head with a razor - dandruff?

Featured Replies

Hi Mate

Hair thinning is normal, dandruff is common, it is skin coming off you scalp you can buy a good dandruff shampoo. They have some good creams in Thailand, go to the markets find a stall that sells lots of creams ask them what they have for your problem or go to the local pharmacy.

If I was you, I would check with a dermatologist. I'm not convinced the patches are from dandruff. Could be something else that can be treated with some ointment that will prevent the loss of hair.

Why not treat yourself a glass eye?

  • Been shaved since before it was popular. My Dad was doing cancer treatments and lost his so I matched him. Love the clean cool feel, just soap and a razor so I kept it shaved. Your head toughens up li

As a newbie cue ball head myself, and also using a regular razor, does anyone have any observations as to the best way to cue ball? Is it a blade razor or should I think about an electric razor? How often? In the shower or at the mirror? Any lotion or anything deployed?

Any tips appreciated!

Question:

How many people shave their heads to hide the old age of greyness? smile.png

I'm hiding baldness not greyness (although it would be grey if it were there) but others may vary........ I could go for the Skullet (like a mullet with dome top) but no......

Thanks for the replies all, very helpful.

Use polytar shampoo or Tgel. I also use a cream called dovobet for psoriasis of the scalp.

Is Polytar shampoo easy to find here? Any sightings much appreciated :) Saw none in Makro yesterday and need to source some for my sister ;)

probably shave off bit of your epidermis, don't shave again if your skin is too sensitive , use a clean razor , zinc is good , something akin to a skin tear i'm guessing, i shave head, razor, no such problem......
