Does anyone know if the drug Efinaconazole (Jublia) is available in Thailand and if they have yet to get some generic version covered by the Social Security health scheme?

It's a new topical treatment for toenail fungus, which I have had in both big toenails for almost two decades despite hardcore attempts to eradicate it on my own. (sorry if this creeps people out...no pic attached)

Initial research indicates that in the US the efficacy rate is pretty low, but the price is really high.

Anyway, if it's available here I'd like to give it a try since I have tried everything else and would prefer to go to the grave (or incinerator, I don't care which) without my long-term fungal companion....

No, not available here.

There is a good podiatrist at Bangkok Hospital who will treat with loceryl applied after grinding off the top surface of the toenails (so that the drug can penetrate - this is the big problem)
