Opening hours/days

wondered if anyone can advise..

Is the Government Hospitals open on Saturdays ?

have 3 government hospitals in the area, within 3 km of where I live, just cannot go 15 km to a private one. but getting mixed view/opinions of them not open on Fridays and or Saturdays

No one I have asked in the Village has a phone number for any of them.

Hospitals are always open. If you mean the OPD clinic, they keep particular hours but are usually open 7-3 at a minimum.

OPD clinics are usually just Monday through Friday and mainly in the morning. Of course, the ER is always open for emergencies.

Note that government hospitals are not all the same, there are different levels of them and the car available differs accordingly. Best to stick to provincial level hospital or military hospital if possible.

Many thanks... just been talking one lady that just arrived back, she says only heard good news with the San Noi government Hospital, just been re built. + open 24/7 the old one was open only day time.. the other one [+ is new and 7 stories] in a middle of a field was hopeless a year ago and still closed at night

Just need urgent blood pressure test, and blood sugar test [forgot to buy new strips and needle] so cannot test myself.. feel bad and light headed and passing out for 4 days, last time was very low blood pressure had to stay in hospital 48 hours..

need to not eat or drink for 12 hours before test, so will go tomorrow

Yes think that appears to be true

Went, and the Hospital is very old [maybe has a new wing somewhere ? it has a new sign]

blood pressure test, and blood sugar test both appears OK, see Dr about 30 mins and a few tests and checks [he looked very very young] 3 lots of tablets 3x day for 5 days, 2 injections, pay bill total: 200.01 baht..

will I go again, good question guess will be if I can drive that far, as the Government Hospital at Bang Bua Thong, is modern, clean and light years ahead
