I am getting married in Thailand this summer, and I want my mom to be there. She is 75 and not comfortable flying alone so in order to persuade her, I want to make it as easy as possible for her. She is flying to Hat Yai with Thai Airways connecting at BKK and I need someone to meet her at the gate, get her through immigration and drop her off at the next gate. I have googled several such services but can someone in here recommend anyone?

Request assistance with the Airline ( Thai Airways ) using a wheel chair as she " need one" for long walk. At 75 they will understand.

She need to do this before she check-in at the origin. Phone the airline or see the agent that sold the ticket.

The airline should transfer her with a wheel chair and attendant. Especially if the transfer is between two Thai Airways flights.

She is your 75 year old mother.

Meet her in Bangkok and travel with her.

Generally a good idea to pick her up in Bangkok and fly to Hat Yai with her.

There is just a flaw: the poster is in Thailand and will not be able to meet her at the gate when she arrives internationally.

So there is a "gap" which can only be filled by professional services and/or the airline service.

He can meet her in the domestic terminal.

Regardless, this issue in not what the woman can or can't do on her own, she'll make the connection, the issue is her comfort level.

If she checks a bag, they'll find her and get her to the aircraft.

Just order a wheel chair.
