What an app !!

Last night I tested the desktop version a little... The major releases all were fast enough to stream the 1080p version after the few seconds it took to get the buffers filled. Watched a full movie last night on the TV with zero issues.

Android app working but on my fireTVs has some remote (button mapping) issues.. With a mouse input its fine but I suspect it will solve the issues. Open source means this should be easy to get it fixed.

Try it.. Its has everything bar live TV channels.. For mainstream movies and shows its a wrapper interface that does it all for you !! Indexes, cover art, finds the best sources, and handles the download and playback.. It really cant get much easier.

When I get some testing debug time I will try the android play versions of the remote controls.. For tablet control of the app.

Apologies.. Only found it last night and while I do like to maintain and keep my own offine database and media files, curated and stable on my net in case of outages.. This just feels like a major leap into the napsterization of video media.

I used to be the same with audio, gigs of downloaded music. These days I just have spotify premium.. I can see this being the first steps to that same conclusion.

I've been using popcorn time until my internet service provider (Time Warner) gave me a warning that there were pirated movies played on my ISP address. It threatened to cut off my service if I continued to use popcorn time.
