Hello,

We would like to start learning golf in BKK area.

What would be the best option for that ? Indoor or outdoor ?

How long should we learn before starting to make full golf course ?

We would prefer to learn outside, and not with air-conditioned environnement.

We are living in Thonglor area.

Thank you.

Get yourself down to the nearest driving range and hit some balls. Next find a pro to teach you the basics. I'd say depending on your ability, 6 months practice before the course should do it.

My first experience of golf was teeing off on the first tee. It's not an enjoyable game when your constantly hitting from under trees, knee length rough or watching ball after ball go 'plonk'.

Good luck, and if you ever want a game in northern Bkk, send me a pm. I'm always looking for someone to play with.

Wrong way around.

Always get a pro first before you start developing bad habbits.

Yes, you are right, but I was thinking give it a try first before forking out the cash for a lesson. He might think after 10 balls it's not for him. I've taking people to the range before and they have given up pretty quick. It takes a certain mentality to stick at golf, unless you have a bit a natural talent and a gift at ball striking sports.
