Nong Khai celebrates 188th founding anniversary

NONGKHAI, 4 April 2015 (NNT) – Nong Khai province is celebrating its founding anniversary with tons of cultural and entertainment activities.

The event kicked off in Friday evening near the Mehong River at Nong Khai Municipality. Presiding over the opening ceremony was Nong Khai governor Suchart Noppawan.

The three-day event features multimedia shows, live concerts by well-know singers, fun-filled competitions and menus with tons of dishes made with fresh fish from the Mekong River.

The celebration will be held between April 3 and 5 starting at 6 p.m.
