Second hand car or Motor bike info (Ubon area)

Featured Replies

Can i ask what kind of car and age of car i would get for 50,000 Baht.

My wife is wanting to buy her son a car to run around town, a small car would be better.

also can you buy a new Honda motor bike for around 50,000 Baht.

We are heading up to Yasothon and Ubon Ratchatani in the next 2 weeks

My wife's son is still at Uni, so because he is young, i dont want to go mad on spending to much money on a car or bike, but my wife is on about paying 100,000 For a car.

Thank you for any help

more ! more! more! in answer to the question i have never seen a car/pick up for sale at that price not a runner anyways

Second hand car prices have come down quite a bit since the " first car scheme"

I recently sold a running ( not to well but running taxed and insured) Nissan Sunny for 15,000 baht

New honda wave cheapest version about 34,000 baht most expensive about 48,000 baht

My mates got a 2013 CB150 for sale for 50k & not too far from Ubon

I am shocked at the price of second hand cars after checking http://www.taladrod.com/w20/Home/ I have just sold a Renault megane which was 6 years old for £2000, it might have been better getting the car shipped to Thailand LOL .

I think the bike is the best way to go for a young 21 year old, plus buying cheap, he may end up with lots of problems likes of timeing belts snapping etc

Thank you for your help

2nd hand prices have been crazy high for decades Malct. Also the ability not to import 2nd hand vehicles into LOS.

don't buy nothing 2nd hand, the thai's don't service their cars or motorbikes, when it dies they buy a new one

but if you buy from an expat its most likely its been taken care of

just my 25stang worth

Malct. 100k for a car seems good, if its in good condition. If you are looking for a car from an Expat that has had routine service, I have a 05 Isuzu Highland quad cab for 300k.

sence your son is still in school, and "young" a motor bike is the way to go,you can buy a new motor bike for under 50,000T/B

then when he's older move up to a car
