All matters economic? Seriously?

He placed capital controls on the equity markets, an error he righted within a few hours. Some short term investors lost a lot of money and some fund managers were embarrassed, but the guy was open minded and quick to right his decision. Within a few days the markets had returned to normal.

That was years ago. He has been in positions of authority for many years so what are the "all matters economic" you are referring to?
