Do You Also Pay A lot More For Electricity In Sisaket Area?

Featured Replies

Hello and Sawasdee khrap,

I was just wondering when I saw our last electricity bill. We usually pay around 800 baht/month, but the last two times we had to pay 1,300 baht. Did anybody in Sisaket experience something similar?

And what's a good company to clean three air conditioners, with refilling in Sisaket? I've been here long enough to know where companies are, just wanted to know which company's reliable and doing a good job.

Thanks a lot for any information.

There's a clue in your mentioning 3 air conditioners..........Surely u have used them more in the last 2 hot months which would account for the increase.

Nope, we've never used them within 16 months.I'd be more than happy to pay 1,500 baht for electricity when having only one unit running.

All three units have to be properly cleaned and refilled. But thanks. wai2.gif

1) we got 2 a/c"s in SSK province and just paid about the same as you.

2) we have used a good guy from U. Pisai the last 3 times we moved and recommend him. ( 0860776369) (Thai)m

Thanks. The problem is that we didn't even use one of them and had almost 600 baht more as usual.

Thanks for the number, guess I've met them doing the units at my school.

Just curious if electricity has gotten more expensive these days. Cheers-wai2.gif

Electricity is getting more expensive all over the world generally, not only in Siskaret ,as demand increases for not only air conditioning and domestic use but for industry , transport plus all the other uses we uses for electricity. We will eventually need to adapt but in the meantime it would be a good industry to invest in .

The rate you pay is the same nationwide if you get power from the PEA. I don't recall any recent rate changes.

Just hotter weather will make your bill go up. More fans on for longer hours. Even the fridge will run more when it is hotter in the house.

Thanks, that might be the reason. We have fridges running, makes sense.

We normally pay 1000 a month for three bed two bath. No aircons though, as I'm hoping to live without them. When there is a lot of welding going on, like last month building patio roof, it jumped to 1400.

Phu Sing area, south a bit.
