oneday Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 Now carry out the check, without telling them you coming! Exactly my thought. Maybe one week's notice was too much.
recycler Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 It has been OK for years, so why would that change now?
Pattaya28 Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 47 random fishermen with no illegal drug use ??? Pull the other one
Oziex1 Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 Why is a local Guv always leading these officials, a few photo ops and everything's OK. But it is not OK, not at all, all will be revealed by credible outside sources. One would think these issues are for the Thai equal of the FBI or in Aus the AFP as the crime is a national and international issue.

It's all a photo op to display how seriously he is dealing with this issue. We all know it's complete BS. 1
Ulic Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 7 Thai, 40 Burmese. Did they check pay stubs, making sure the minimum wage was paid? Interviewed the crewmen privately? One thing is for sure they got the results they wanted. 1
Jonmarleesco Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 And how many are left to check - presumably with advance warning?
wowfactor10 Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 Glad to see the illegal fishing has been solved !
