No KunMatt, after 30 months here she will have to apply for FLR (Further Leave to Remain) - cost is £1149 (incl. another £500 NHS surcharge). There is some thinking that the new Tory government will introduce a B1 English requirement for FLR. This was hinted at in their manifesto (and discussed in another thread) but we wait to see what happens.

After she has been here for 5 years she can apply for ILR IF she passes the Life In The UK test and achieves B1 English. Cost of ILR is £1500 (no NHS surcharge needed). However if she doesn't qualify for ILR she will need to apply for FLR every 2 1/2 years (£1149 inc. NHS surcharge) until she does qualify or reaches the age of 65.

Every time she applies for FLR you will still need to meet the income/savings requirements as you did for the SV.

And some people in this forum wonder why I'm always complaining!
