Chao Lao Beach Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 More bottom of the barrel scum. It would be a damn shame if they had an "accident" wouldn't it when they do crap like this. the Pattaya vollenter cops I mean.
WitawatWatawit Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Are the volunteers Thais or foreigners? Thais, I would presume. Sloppy reporting.
jamesjohnsonthird Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 A public lynching might slow these bastards down? Give these scumbags a uniform and they think they can abuse us like real cops?
Liquorice Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 They were Thai volunteer cops. One of photos shows the victim and cops captured by the phone shop CCTV. Not to self: Don't go to Pattaya.
ToddinChonburi Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 So were is the picture of the 2 uniformed officers ? Volunteers or real cops or fake ? So he runs from the cops then has a pretty good story of corruption. So now 2 cops on the run for 3000 baht.
Spock Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Even the picture in the pawn shop of the cop shows a smiling woman in yellow next to him. If she is the girlfriend, why is she smiling and seemingly happy? If not the girlfriend, where is she if the cops are in the pawn store? Or is that her leaning on the counter in the above photo? And if so, why isn't she protesting at the pawning of her phone? Dreadful reporting.
Just1Voice Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 And just where is the girl they said they were taking to the station to test for drugs? Has she been heard from since?
Yann55 Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 When you read something like this : (quote) Police are currently searching for two Police Volunteers, who are suspected of theft and abduction ... you have to ask yourself : is this place for real ? ... and you have to wonder "should I burst out laughing and get on with my life here or get the hell out of this loony bin asap?" (I hasten to add that I don't have the answer to the second question. Yet. And Faz - post #6 - if you think this kind of thing can only happen in Pattaya and nowhere else in Thailand, then you need to read and watch the news more often. As it happens, the TVF team seems to enjoy posting news that make Pattaya look even worse than it is - and it's bad enough - but if you read other sources you'll find that the rest of Thailand has its ample share of stories which are just as crazy and mind-boggling).
jackanapes Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 I don't believe these 2 were police volunteers I think they were a couple of triers posing as volunteer police they need to be caught asap they could go on to bigger things.
gandalf12 Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 I didnt think volunteers carried guns, and I wrong?
Baerboxer Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 I didnt think volunteers carried guns, and I wrong? A lot of the volunteers around here seem to carry BB guns.
BernieOnTour Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 So were is the picture of the 2 uniformed officers ? Volunteers or real cops or fake ? So he runs from the cops then has a pretty good story of corruption. So now 2 cops on the run for 3000 baht. He ran from Tourist Police Volunteers, not police officers. - No right to act without Royal Thai Police, no right to carry guns during their service...
realenglish1 Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 This sounds like someone stole the uniforms and paraded as Volunteer Cops. Farang Volunteer cops are not going to steal a a little money like 400 baht. Sounds like wolves in sheep's clothing here not real volunteers
fareastguy Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Give someone a uniform & they have to go over-the-top ! Guess they're learning from they're full-time buddies !!
Stray Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 And just where is the girl they said they were taking to the station to test for drugs? Has she been heard from since? Click the link at the bottom of the story and the answers to your questions will be revealed.

Benmart Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 More bottom of the barrel scum. It would be a damn shame if they had an "accident" wouldn't it when they do crap like this. the Pattaya vollenter cops I mean. An illegal act does not justify another illegal act.
nithisa78 Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 inquiring minds want to know. when the minds gets here.

Andre0720 Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Police volunteers.... Wonder where they got their training.....
MZurf Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 They were Thai volunteer cops. One of photos shows the victim and cops captured by the phone shop CCTV. Not to self: Don't go to Pattaya. Note to you; Thank you!
cookee68 Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Are the volunteers Thais or foreigners? Thais, I would presume. Sloppy reporting. I thought volunteers could not carry guns, or does that only apply to the foreign police volunteers
technologybytes Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 The whole idea of police volunteers is ridiculous.
