Safe parking Don Sak (Samui?)

Featured Replies

HI,

My wife and I are planning to go with another couple (very good friends) down to KPN at the end of July. However, because money is an issue, paying 20k (2ppl) for return tickets to Samui is a bit too much.

I was thinking to drive us all down and save us all a bundle,

Is there any safe parking at or near Don Sak or possibly on Samui? I am not sure I want to take the car all the way to KPN. Is there safe parking in Haad Rin?

Your best bet really is to take the ferry "with" the car. It's not a big deal. Get there more than an hour before the ferry leaves just so you get a place on the ferry. The ferry traffic can be heavy some times.

Get a plane-bus-ferry combo ticket with airasia for 2.500 baht return

You fly via SRT or NST.

Yep, that looks like a better idea. Nok Air has a joint ticket to Thong Sala via SRT, as well.
