1 dead 1 injured in North Pattaya Road Crash



PATTAYA: -- Just before daybreak on Thursday another fatal road crash occurred in Pattaya resulting in the death of a female and serious injury sustained to another.

Police and medics rushed to the scene of the crash at a junction located in the Northern outskirts of Pattaya on the Sukhumvit Road. The crash involved a Honda City car and a motorbike.

The driver of the car is Khun Anuchar aged 27, who works for an Insurance Company. His car collided head-on with a motorbike driven by Khun Papasee aged 23, who was injured. Her passenger, an unidentified female in her Twenties, was killed.

There were no independent witnesses to the crash but the car driver claimed he was driving from Sattahip to Bangkok where he was due to attend an early morning meeting.

It amazes me how people can be so blazay when crossing one of the most dangerous roads in Thailand.

Obviously wrong wording.

Hit the scooter with his front.

Its "just another" of these Suk. U-turn crashes.

You have a car speeding like mad on the right lane, you have a scooter not checking carefully before panning to the right to reach the U-turn.

Suk. Pattaya is a slaugtherhouse for two wheelers.

As a visitor I drive a scooter, but whenever possible avoid Suk. !!!!
