I've decided I need to get back into saltwater fishing. Anyone ever done any surf fishing within a few hours of Bangkok? If so, were you met with good results? I've watched the YouTube videos of Thais catching 6" long pla hed for dinner but was thinking that would be more like the size of my bait. Any thoughts?

If you find surf a couple of hours from BKK...please let me know.

Really nowadays it's a waste of time, Thai fishing boats have trawled everything out of the sea! Including the 6 inch fish!

Fished off the pier at Hua Hin a few times. Not spectacular but the odd nice fish landed.

Tried a few time at Sriracha.
