Theres been a stand in the main Tescos just recently that have had refurb laptops for sale @ 3,900thb . Not sure if its still there though ?

Yup , They were there a few days ago Shot not sure if there still there now ? , before that the Tescos in Thalang so I assume theyre doing the rounds with the superstores.

We brought one for the little one by the way , and no problems so far but then again its hasnt been that long.

Though id just add a photo for you , as you can see stickers over the original keyboard to include the Thai Alphabet , so can only guess there originally from Europe or the US maybe ?

I think they've moved on from Tesco Lotus at Samkong - didn't see them there on Saturday.

The refurb laptops they were selling were very much out of date, but probably ok for light web browsing and email. I looked up one (Toshiba Satellite - forget the model number now), and saw an online seller in Japan that was selling them for about 30% less than the guys at Tesco.

They have very little RAM & so I guess you cannot do anything too heavy. The other thing is software as I am not sure what they come with. They were at Lotus Chalong a couple of weeks ago. I have a contact who does refurbs, very good quality work. PM if you want his contact details.

No heavy use, just simple programs. The 3900B is an attractive price for what I need. Question is: Where are they now?
