The Village Deli In Bang Saray

A friend of mine has just opened this place on the main road into Bang Saray. The food is very good and extremely reasonably priced. The place itself is very nice, clean and tastefully decorated. I have been there for a full English breakfast and have also had lasagna with french fries. Both were only 99 baht and tasted fantastic. Well worth a try for anyone in the Bang Saray area.

OK that sounds like a winner but which main road and where on the main road into BS? How to spot the place from a speeding SUV?

Going from Pattaya, you turn right off Sukhumvit Road just before the PTT station at Bang Saray. You then follow the road, go straight on towards the sea at the roundabout and it is on the left hand side after about 300 metres (after the roundabout). There is some open land just before it and she has put a sign up plus a couple of A frame notice boards on the pavement. I had gaeng keaw wan last night, which was superb. For those of us living in Bang Saray the place is a godsend. Finally, there is good, cheap food available that suits a western palate, other than seafood.
