Any Licenses/Approvals Needed To Rent Condos

I purchased a few condos in Jomtien and Bangsaray (all foreign freehold) and want to put them in service for monthly/yearly rental to Thais and farang. Do I need any licenses or approvals to do so?

I was hoping to avoid hiring an agent but don't want to run afoul of any applicable laws or regulations. I have used Thai attorneys in some of my other business ventures and, with a few exceptions, I have not been satisfied with their advice or service.
