but then i read i need savings ??

please can someone clarify its so stressful why is our country like this ???

What sort of visa are you talking about, visit or settlement?

If you're sponsoring your wife for settlement you need to meet the financial requirements, this is an income of £18,600 or above.

If you cannot meet that income level you can use the savings method.

we have visiting visa now until new year and we want to go back to thailand in september to marry so settlement visa i am enquirying about

i can meet the 18600 per year but do i need it in my bank right now ?someone scared me and told me i need the balance of my account to have 18600 in it

i am self employed and have accounts to prove

No, you don't need to have it in the bank, but you do need to be able to prove that your income meets the requirement.

It's fully explained in the document I attached.
