MMR Vaccine Booster Question

Featured Replies

Hi,

Maybe be a Question Sheryl can kindly answer !

I have given My daughter all of the recommended vaccines in Thailand but It seems that the Mrs and I forgot the MMR booster.! her school has just offered that booster for free, as My daughter is now 6 and a half and the rate of non take is so low 2-5 % should We allow it to be administered ?

Thanks

A bit off topic, and it won't help you much but might be value information for others:

For most vaccine you can check the amount of antibodies you have. It happens that some vaccine doesn't work at all (Hepatitis B for me) or works way better than expected (Meningoenzephalitis I am off the scale).

On both I don't need any refresh vaccine....one won't work anyway and on the other I am immune anyway.

checking the antibody titer helps to avoid vaccinations that aren't necessary without any risk.
