HeijoshinCool
Pathumwan Police superintendent Colonel Jarut Saruttayaporn said police needed at least two days to catch the thieves. Uh, really? It took you twenty-four hours just to "summon" your prime witnesses, the guards, for an interview.
Chang_paarp
I think the plod are having trouble believing the story the guards are telling. Maybe it needs more sound effects to make the keystone cops understand the situation.

It's nearly always reported that the police ' rush ' to every incident and this seems to tire them out completely as follow up enquiries are at a snail's pace whilst they recover from the exertion and have to summon witnesses / suspects etc to come to then rather than getting off their backsides and pushing on with things. I was thinking the same, instead of asking questions on the spot to get fast info for potential arrest in their get away and interviewing the main whitnesses or possible acomplances they give them 24hrs to get their story straight and get away. Anyway, the sun comes up, the sun goes down, what to do.

Pity there are no Burmese in the picture. If there were it would be sorted easily
