Visa for Cruise from USA to Oz

I am thinking about taking the gf on a cruise leaving the States and arriving in Oz. I was just wondering whether she would need a visa for both countries, and with it only being a 28 day thing, whether the visas would be easy to get.

For the USA, for sure she'd need a tourist visa. Standard terms would apply, she'd need to establish that she will depart the U.S. This is usually by showing her ties to Thailand.

Also check exactly where along the route the boat stops! Ohh and ensure that the boat or yourself have packed enough Mama noodles!!!
