I bought Lowery's seasoned salt at Villa Market. I don't know about Frank's hot sauce.

I have seen Franks at BigC Jungceylon

I've been looking for Frank's hot sauce too.

I found Crystal Hot Sauce (basically, the same thing) at Big C in Phuket town, but they had only the really small bottles. I found slightly bigger bottles at Villa Market in Chalong. Both places had just a few bottles on the shelf.

It is hit or miss at BigC Jungceylon. Same with Bull's-eye BBQ Sauce.

I must disagree about Crystal and Franks though. They are totally different. Franks is a full body thicker sauce with a subtle hint of garlic, vinegar, and heat with a slight smoky flavor. Crystal is nearly colored water with tomato paste.

Yes, I am a hot sauce snob.

Yeah, I think you're right about Frank's being better than Crystal. In the US, I used to buy Crystal when I couldn't find Frank's. With Crystal, I'd just use more, and cook it down to make it thicker when making sauce for wings. A touch of tabasco would give it a little more heat, plus I always add a little garlic and worchestershire.
