that song had nothing to do with the war. it concerned police vs kids on sunset strip

hmm, it was an anti-war song in my neck of the woods back in the 60's when I was a kid, but whatever...

maybe to you but not to stills

AYJAYDEE. I think it's a great song. We performed it on British television.

it's the most simplistic, childish, smarmy, puerile POS ever recorded! lol. it was always a close cal whether we would laugh or puke evrytime it came on!

You obviously haven't listened to Elton John or Michael Jackson.

yeah i have and they sound like lennon/mcartney in comparison!!

what some may call the the summunation of all ''war songs'' brings a lump to my throat whenever i hear it. some refer to it as ''taps'' others ''day is done'' it is interperted to tell what the end result will be for everyone involved.

A song about the Irish War of Independence,

One can only hope Roger is updating the lyrics these days.

Mr Zuma and friends, Mr Bashir and friends, the ghosts of the Marikina massacre.

How about Blair and Bush?

Lets not forget ISIS are just freedom fighters, LOL, the irony of it all.

Never mind, lets turn a blind eye, cheap oil and weapons deals matter more to the MIC. (Military Industrial Complex).

Lets sell them weapons they can use to wipe out their own people, or even better, people from across the border.
