jadee Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Hi,I've been teaching in Bangkok and I'm going to work in Tianjin, China. I'd like to hear from someone who has been to China and knows about vaccinations, type required, where to get them, cost etc, or anyone who knows. The school's advice is just to visit my local doctor. I'm from the UK and have my vaccination record. I know I can go to a private hospital and ask but I'll just get hit with everything. Case in point, I got the PERF medical check at Sikarin hospital Bangkok and they charged me the 'foreigner price' of 4,300baht (yes, it actually said 'Payer Group: Foreigner' on the bill) - I later looked online and a government hospital in Bangkok near the Chinese embassy charges around half that for the same check up. Just thought I'd ask on here about the vaccinations first many thanks for any replies!
