I want to repaint my large ceiling.

I have seen many brands but one is 2-3 times moere expensive than the rest.

Dulux supashield Duraclean .

100% pure acryllic.

Is it worth while paying this extra for paint?

I am happy here and have no plans to leave.

I have just finished painting my ceilings,I was going to go for TOA, but was shown the Dulux supashield Duraclean at a cheaper price than the TOA so I went for the Dulux.

Painted one ceiling and noticed it was a like a semi gloss although it said matt on the tub.

When the light from the windows light up the ceiling it looks a mess, every little mark shows up.

Now Toa do a similar one I think it superclean and that was just the same, so I went for a bog standard matt and am quite happy with it.

The premium grade of most "popular" brands should be similar price. In any case, I would stick with the premium grade as quality goes down much faster than the price. I like TOA premium grade.

I do NOT want a semi gloss [or any gloss] on my ceiling .

I used 4 seasons 10 years ago .It is still good [no smoking in the house].

I hope to paint for the last time this time.

I think I will go for the TOA premium this time.
