Comments about forum mail notifications

So I have an iMac 5K and almost half the screen vertically it taken up by the banner image in any email notification for a forum topic update.

That's a big egregious.

Secondly the URL references the topic and not the actual post. So is there a way that the notification can provide a URL that takes the user

to the actual post for the notification and not just the topic
