Bars Closed

Featured Replies

The big boss just got off the phone with the Banglamung Police Dept. and they said in accordance with martial law, all bars must close at 9pm every night until further notice.

Anyone heard anything to the contrary?

I went for a walk this afternoon around Pattaya and several were open selling grog as usual, no different from any other day.

If the bars are forced to shut early, how can they reCOUP their losses ?? :o

......it's OK...I know my way out. :D

A farang friend who owns a bar here in Khon Kaen said that the police had been to visit and "asked" him to close his bar at midnight for the rest of this week. My friend also said that the police officer said "please" TWICE :o during their conversation, maybe things are changing for the better.

they didnt in bangkok, was still going strong at 12pm last night.....

Its all hype, nothing was shut early and i don't believe it will happen. Pattaya Police certainly won't enforce it. :o
