Protecting camera and lenses from humidity

Featured Replies

Pulled some watches out of the safe the other day and the leather bands had a dry green mildew all over them. Took me 2 days to get the courage to check my camera gear! Checked this morning and all good.

I store them now in bags, in a plastic drawer in a non air con room. We have air con on in the bedroom but only night.

Shud I be storing my gear in an airtight box with silica or something? If so where in isaan could I buy silica?
