How Do I Stop Getting Emails From Thaivisa

Featured Replies

i was just wondering how i stop getting spam mail from thaivisa...??

I've never seen 'spam' mail from thaivisa only subscribed topics/forums. If that is what you are referring to just go to 'My Controls' and select Subscriptions (topics/forums) and unsubscribe.

Could you expain a little clearer what this "spam" consists of?

Cant you just block the address??

Yes, an example would be useful. Also, this probably should be moved to the forum support desk.

He was referring to some newbie that make use of TV to advertised and sending PM scam stories which I too received recently. Anyhow, our sharp eyes moderator carried out their duty in shooting down those nigerian scam bullshits stories.

That makes things clearer. To the OP, you can use the Report button to complain directly to the mods who will handle it. Thaivisa has very strict policies on spamming.

someone before messaged me that I was a now a mod, the guy was just telling me BS though

Why, you don’t want the power to arbitrarily delete member’s posts

Are you familiar with the phrase "Let sleeping dogs lie"? :o

It would take him hours just to delete all the shit posts he has put up :D he wouldnt have time to do the other mod duties :D

As for spam, i have been here well over a year and never recieved anything resembling spam via pm or via email :o

I have gotten 2 or 3 in PM's ... none via mail <the one's that did it via Pm are now banned>

Interesting. Maybe i am just not worth spamming.

Maybe you are seen as a soft touch, or easy target :o:D

I wouldn't say, TV is sending spam-mail, what they do are some "commercials" like:

Subject: [thaivisa.com] Sonthi outsmarted Thaksin at the eleventh hour

I shortend above a bit and left my e-mail address out. The idea is obviously to announce some 'hot' stories and one can just click a link to get it.

The OP does not say what mail cient he is using. Under hotmail can go to options > block sender.

Eudora let you to make a filter a.s.o. or you can 'guide' all incoming mails from TV (or anybody) into a special folder you created.

But actually TV is not bothering me. I there are news referring to stories I am not interested in, I just delete it.

I have deleted your email address from our forum and breaking news system, and you will never hear from us again.

All our emails are opt-in, and we have clear instructions at the bottom of each email how to unsubscribe.

We never send spam! Further, here is our privacy policy:
