Harvard University resists
Below are quotes from prominent Republicans picked out by long time Republican pollster Sarah Longwell in a thread posted to X on Wednesday. She explains, "Because Republicans believed the IRS under Obama was targeting conservative groups, there are tons of clips of R elected officials passionately arguing that the government targeting the tax exempt status of groups because of their political beliefs is un-American and illegal. FYI." 1. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) proclaimed that the IRS targeting political adversaries is "as wrong as things can be in this country." 2. Vice President JD Vance, at the time not in political office, told Fox News' Laura Ingraham, "This is about whether we have functional constitutional government in this country. If the IRS can go after you because of what you think or what you believe or what you do, we'd no longer live in a free country.“ 3. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), "I can also assure you that were this a Republican president, a Republican Attorney General, and a Republican IRS that were targeting Democrats, I at least would speak out just as vigorously against it because if we are going to respect rule of law, the apparatus of the federal government cannot and should not be used as a partisan tool to bludgeon your enemies." 4. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who, when he was serving as the senator for Florida, had a similar message. "Great news folks. @SecRubio will not stand for the federal government or its agencies targeting institutions or organizations because of their political beliefs. That’s third-world stuff that can’t be allowed to happen here.'' 'I would speak out vigorously!' Republicans who once decried IRS weaponization now silent Oh, how the lambs are silent now! -

Tensions Flare in London as Pro-Palestinian Protesters Pelted with Eggs During Road Blockade
I have only had one encounter with PA fish and game officer. I was catching fish at a local park pond. I didn't know it was out of season for bass. He approached and asked if I had caught any bass. I told I did but was letting them go, I didn't want to eat any fish. He told me that was good as bass was out of season. Then he walked away. -

Assassination Cult at it again , Its become a hunting ground for the sick !
Quoting two or three lunatic teens making death threats is not representative of the Democratic left..... However, these real life instances might be indicative of the mindset of the right....... 1. Oklahoma City Bombing (1995) Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols detonated a truck bomb outside the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, killing 168 people. It remains the deadliest act of domestic terrorism in U.S. history. 2. Charleston Church Shooting (2015) Dylann Roof, a white supremacist, opened fire during a Bible study at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina, killing nine African American parishioners. 3. Tree of Life Synagogue Shooting (2018) Robert Bowers attacked the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, killing 11 worshippers. He expressed anti-Semitic and anti-immigrant sentiments online before the attack. 4. El Paso Walmart Shooting (2019) A gunman killed 23 people at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas, targeting Hispanic individuals. He cited anti-immigrant and white nationalist beliefs in a manifesto. 5. Plot to Kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer (2020) Members of a militia group plotted to kidnap Governor Whitmer, citing opposition to COVID-19 restrictions. The FBI thwarted the plan, and several individuals were arrested and convicted. 6. January 6 Capitol Insurrection (2021) Supporters of then-President Donald Trump stormed the U.S. Capitol in an attempt to overturn the 2020 presidential election results. The riot resulted in multiple deaths and numerous injuries. 7. Attack on Paul Pelosi (2022) David DePape broke into the home of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and attacked her husband, Paul Pelosi, with a hammer. DePape espoused conspiracy theories and extremist views. 8. Attempted Attack on FBI Field Office (2022) Ricky Shiffer attempted to breach an FBI field office in Cincinnati, Ohio, armed with a nail gun and an AR-15-style rifle. He was killed after a standoff with law enforcement. 9. Gilroy Garlic Festival Shooting (2019) A shooter opened fire at the Gilroy Garlic Festival in California, killing three people and injuring 17. The attacker had expressed white supremacist views online. 10. Plot to Bomb Synagogue in Pueblo, Colorado (2019) Richard Holzer, a self-identified white supremacist, planned to bomb a synagogue in Pueblo. He was arrested in an FBI sting operation and later convicted. These incidents underscore the persistent threat posed by right-wing extremism in the United States. Law enforcement agencies continue to monitor and address such threats to safeguard public safety and uphold democratic institutions. -

Auto gates?
Airport staff are always slow to adopt new rules. In the old COVID times, an airport employee did not let me check in without a test result that had not been needed for entry into Cambodia for a couple of months. Probably you should just pass through the gates without any questions.
