Bliss Beneath Palm Trees Besides countless beaches and paradise islands, Thailand offers a number of attractive features for expats who appreciate a pleasant climate and affordable living costs.

Indeed, over a third of the participants in Thailand (36%) list the better quality of life as a reason for relocating. And it seems Thailand does not disappoint in this matter: it ranks fourth in the Personal Happiness subcategory.

Good informational site for expat information...thanks for sharing...smile.png

Expats in New Zealand?!

I looked into moving there and found it VERY restrictive.

I was also thinking of Ecuador and was rather disappointed after visiting for a couple of weeks.

Just my 2 Baht.

Where did you visit in Ecuador?

I think NZ would mostly be for wealthy retirees and highly skilled workers.

Obviously they didn't poll ThaiVisa members, most appear to be here against their will judging by the constant whining and complaining, Thailand and Thai people are not very highly regarded by many on this Forum, but still they stay, their home countries must really suck ! laugh.png
