Just happened to me.
I agree with most of what you say, but disagree about the women here changing, and remain optimistic. I think a large part of the equation is the erosion of femininity in the west. It has gotten so bad, that masculinity is now considered toxic. This is an existential threat to civilization, no doubt. It is me-too, and uber-feminism that has been the real nuclear bomb to relationships and a woman's ability to express herself, have sex freely, date normally, manifest the incredible dignity within femininity, and relate to men, in a healthy manner. It seems to contribute to an extremely unfulfilled female gender, and has resulted in making life very difficult for most men in the West. With Covid, things are even worse than before. A real life Zombieland. Thankfully, little of that toxic nonsense has reached the shores of Thailand. Women here seem to intuitively know how powerful their innate femininity is, and they use it to the fullest. The most important aspect of this, that most Western women cannot see, nor understand, is that most Asian women are very comfortable manifesting the dignity and beauty within femininity. For most men, that is incredibly appealing, and a hugely refreshing change from what they have become used to, and learned to tolerate. Fortunately, here, I do not see that change happening. For some reason, the cultural differences allow the women here to be a greater version of themselves, by expressing the beauty within femininity. I am very thankful for that. I think many have simply rejected alot of mind numbingly wrong headed Western notions, that women are saddled with. Good grief. This saccharine adulation for the quiet, powerful, dignified and beautiful "innate femininity" of the passively acquiescent Asian female? Grown men feeling threatened by women? Banging on about feminist extremism and some weird notion of the toxicity of hard, throbbing, testosterone driven masculinity? Maybe your diet is creating elevated levels of oestrogen? You pair need to seriously grow a pair FFS. -

Need to raise height of soil
Thank you for the suggestion but I see that it is only 5cm high. That area contained a hedge but it had got old so decided to replace it. It’s part of a bigger project to install an artificial lawn. With what’s already been done if I don’t raise that level the lawn will end up well above the soil level and wash it away each time it rains. I will install a drain pipe at the corner. I M thinking floor tiles 15cm by 60cm glued or cemented in could be the way to go. -

Just happened to me.
That's our only hope really, the nature of women and men in Thailand. Will it be enough to resist these feminist ideas from the West? I hope so. However, feminism does put power in women's hands, as we see in the UK with this law that allows women to put men in prison for looking at them. It will be hard for some women in Thailand to resist having power, much as it proved impossible to resist for women in the UK. -
