Laos Visa At Friendship Bridge

Featured Replies

I am about to do a visa run to Laos via the friendship bridge and I am a Non O imm. visa holder.

1. It has been advised on this forum that the border is still open and was not affected by the coup, is this still the current situation, business as usual?

2. According to various websites it states you can get a visa on arrival at the bridge on the Laos side. The cost of such a visa is $30 USD and a 15 day visa will be issued. Is this still the case or if not how much is it in baht? (I have some USD's)

3. Is there anything else I should know? Thanks to you all.
