I need to renew my son's UK passport at some time.

He is of dual nationality, Thai and British and is now 12 years old so the photo on his passport is a bit out of date.

I understand that it has to be done at the Trendy building in BKK but does my son have to come with me to renew it or not?

If not it will be fairly easy for me but if he has to be there as well it will be a bit tricky as we will have to go during the school holidays.

We live 65 km south west of Khampaeng Phet and about 400 km from BKK. It will be a day trip down, probably a day in BKK and a day trip return.

I have gone to the UK government website and downloaded all the information there plus the website links.

It says that I can pay by debit card. Is a KBank debit card valid for this? I know it wasn't when I renewed mine through Hong Kong last year.

Thanks
