Rain to haze

Featured Replies

You can also get from Homepro an inexpensive but very effective electrostatic filter which comes in a packet which you cut to size and place behind the normal gauze filters in your aircons which just normally filters large dust particles. That should help with any smoke particles seeping into a room that has an aircon running.

The haze is thick and choking today in Kata. Can forget about any outdoor activities today(again). Just a warning to anyone who is thinking of heading to Phuket in the near future.

Actually they are not. When I was out of town last week, I was checking this forum regularly for haze updates since the authorities and local media are not to be trusted on topics such as this.

Where did you get the "not to be trusted" idea from? Are you just naturally paranoid. You can get hourly readings here.

Big flooding on Chao West by the PEA building. Water looked to be waist deep on the police trying to keep traffic out of the really deep water. Nice long tailback for those heading north all the way back to Wat Chalong.
