September 29, 201510 yr I will take a Intercity Bus from bangkok to Sukhothai, is it stop in old town? If it stop in new town bus station, any public transport to old town, and how about the Location. Thanks..... oppositely, if I take a Bus/Train from Sukhothai to bangkok(Mochit), which are location can take a bus or train???
September 30, 201510 yr It's been a while but in 2010 I think it was, I took the VIP bus from MoChit to Sukhothai and on the return did the same thing. Unless things have changed, the bus stops at the station on the outskirts of Sukhothai. Maybe 3 or 4 kms from town? There were several baht bus like transports there that will take you to your hotel or into the town or you could take a taxi as I recall. I had just a simple carry on, and was a bit surprised there were no Motorcycle taxies. I don't recall what I paid but it wasn't horrible. Might have been 60 baht?
