I have a non b visa which expires on the 27/11/15 and a work permit which expires on the 05/10/16

My company have try to do a extension for my current non b visa at the local immigration office

But the local immigration officials told me that my company does not qualify for me to extend my non b visa and I would have to go out of thailand to get another new 90 days non b visa n try to apply for the extension again on the new 90 days non b visa

my question is can I go out of thailand n apply for a new non b visa 3 weeks ahead before my old non b expires would the thai embassy in Singapore issue me a new non b visa or I have to wait till the old non b visa expires before I can apply for a new non b visa

Singapore is not the best of choices for a visa.

A Thai Embassy/Consulate will provide a new visa BUT you must have a full set of documentation which is supplied by your employer.

If you have all the required paperwork you may be able to obtain a multi entry "B" visa from Penang as your Work Permit is valid for more than eight months.

Your visa is valid for one entry into Thailand after that it is used,.

When you enter you get 3 months permission to stay that ends if you leave before that time.

So when applying for a new visa you do not have an valid visa or permission to stay, so there is no problem.

Penang will issue a multiple 1-year non-B to you, Singapore will not.

Your "visa" has already "expired" as it has been used. You now stay in Thailand on basis of the "permission to stay" which the visa allowed.

Once you leave the country you do not have a "visa" or permission to stay.

As already said another visa can be obtained if you have all the required documentation.

In Singapore you can only get a single entry visa. Penang can issue a multi- entry visa.
